Profile Settings
Edit your profile at /settings/profile (also reachable via Edit Profile on your profile page).
Fields

| Avatar URL | Link to an image; shown as your avatar across the site. |
| Full Name | Your display name. |
| Username | Your @handle — used to invite you to organizations and to namespace your repos. |
| Bio | A short line shown under your name. |
| Location | Optional. |
| Website | Optional link, shown on your profile. |
Save to apply — changes appear on your profile immediately.
Your username matters beyond display: organization owners add members by username, so make sure yours is set if you expect to be invited to a team.
